A desert camp in the style of an African lodge, only 25km outside Marrakech
ABOUT: Styled like an African lodge, this high-quality camp is only 15 miles outside Marrakech – ideal for short-break visitors hoping to experience a night in the desert. Including a kitchen garden and an organic farm with goats, rabbits and hens, the ten-tent bivouac promises great food, luxurious accommodation and a scenic bar. But nothing tops the nightly cinema: once the sun sets, a jaw-dropping expanse of stars takes over the skies.
ROOMS: A spacious 30m² in size, bedroom tents offer comfortable king-size (or twin) beds, sofa-lined sitting areas, private bathrooms with showers and private verandahs. Each is uniquely decorated with thick splashes of colour and bright fabrics, and each contains traditional homely Moroccan touches such as tadelakt (lime plaster) and Berber rugs.
FACILITIES: Delicious local dishes are served inside the huge restaurant, a quiet tent that’s set slightly away from the main camp. Traditional breakfasts, also taken here, are a treat. The bar has panoramic desert views to go with its beers and shisha pipes. 3G signal and electricity are available.
EXTRA INFO: During the day, guests may muck in at the farm, embark on guided walks, ride Terre des Etoiles’ camels and horses or even charter quad or mountain bikes into the Agafay Desert scrub. Please note that most activities cost extra.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
