ABOUT
A medium-sized Marrakech riad located just inside the medina (old town), close to the city’s focal Jemaa-el-Fna square, Les Yeux Bleus is a tale of two courtyards. One is the hotel’s central space, a fulcrum with a superb small pool; but the other’s more private, a place for contemplation beside a babbling marble fountain. Off these, through elegant arches and galleries, await several sitting rooms, while above is a terrace with pergola-framed rooftop views.
ROOMS
The eight double bedrooms are spread across a choice of positions. Two, boasting fireplaces, face onto the pool patio. A further trio abut the fountain courtyard. The final three sit one floor above the pool and also offer small loggias. All are cosy and comfortable, and each has air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom made using the local tadelakt plaster.
FACILITIES
Perfect after a hard day’s haggling in the souks, massages with argan or essential oils are available in Les Yeux Bleus’s traditional hammam. Happily rejuvenated, you’ll next need to choose where to eat: meals can be served either in a sitting room, by the pool or on the roof terrace. The latter makes a particularly stunning candlelit dinner venue.

The riad has been lovingly restored by its owner, and such care is reflected in its attentive service. And also the menu which can, upon request, include additional dishes inspired by local market produce.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.

We thought that Les Yeux Bleus was a beautiful, relaxed hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and the service was excellent; being so close to the city centre was a great bonus. Our room was very comfortable and the food was very good. Just a couple of comments on our room: it would be a good idea for the hotel to have a partition between the bedroom / sitting area and the bathroom to afford the person using the bathroom some privacy; we also think that it would be a good idea to have a safe in the room rather than having to use the hotel's safe. The guide that you provided recommending sites to see was very useful, especially as we were only in Marrakesh for a short time.

Despite the evening chaos we found Les Yeux Bleus. Nothing was too much trouble for Brik and the team. His restaurant recommendations spot on and the house wine very drinkable. Accommodation great and very comfortable. The rooftop terraces were a wonderful spot to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine after a day's exploring. Breakfast was plentiful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Les Yeux Bleu. The service and atmosphere there was lovely. It was decorated beautifully and a lot of care and thought has gone into the Riad. The staff are also great and there is a lovely balance between engaging with the guests and letting you enjoy the surroundings . The breakfast is lovely and served in a very personal and professional way.

Les Yeux Bleus was good - we were very happy with it. It was certainly evocative and everything you would want in a romantic Riad. The less-than-private privy in our room probably would have come as more of a shock to our American sensibilities when we were fresh off the boat 13 years ago but today it is okay and didn't detract. It was all just as you described.

Riad Les Yeux Bleus was a great place to stay. The owners had prepared a lovely meal for us on our arrival in Marrakech and it was just what we needed.

Such a lovely spot off such a dingy road – a real treat to return there after trips out into the hot city. I’d emailed ahead asking to have dinner at the riad on the first night, and this was our joint favourite meal whilst in the city. The food was superb and it was a good relaxing start to the holiday. The rival for top/favourite spot was Dar Moha which is a great restaurant and an easy walk from the riad. It would have been useful to know that the riad doesn’t accept credit cards – they were happy to take UK currency though.
